At Axewoods we’re all about supporting the community and managing our environment in a sustainable way. Farmers play a key role in providing us with food and maintaining the countryside, but it can be a lonely job, so we were proud to bring some farmers together for a woodworking workshop recently.

The workshop was a great opportunity for local farmers to socialise, use their practical skills and have some fun making traditional stargazer chairs. The chairs were made from planks, cut, sourced and milled locally and in some instances even from trees on their own farms.Once finished, the smiles say it all, and it was great to see them doing something they don’t normally get much time to do, relax!

So all that leaves us to say, is to wish you and those closest to you a very Happy Christmas. Take the memories that made you smile and laugh in 2024 and make more of them in 2025.
